Child/Adolescent Counseling

Helping children/adolescents who have experienced life-altering

circumstances resulting in emotional issues

Steve Bristol counsels one-on-one with children (4+ years old) who suffer from a variety of emotional and mental health issues due to life-altering circumstances. He has trauma therapy experience in working with adolescents ages 12-17 who have experienced multiple traumatic events in their lives. He primarily uses TF-CBT and Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), a type of cognitive behavioral therapy. Its main goals are to teach people how to live in the moment, cope healthily with stress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships with others.
